સોશિયલ મીડિયા એપ ફેસબુક, ઈન્સ્ટાગ્રામ અને વોટ્સએપની સેવાઓ બાધિત થવાના કારણે દુનિયાભરના લોકોએ સમસ્યાઓનો સામનો કરવો પડ્યો.
ફેસબુકના સીઈઓ માર્ક ઝુકરબર્ગે ફેસબુક, ઈન્સ્ટાગ્રામ અને વોટ્સએપ ઠપ થવા પર દુખ વ્યક્ત કરતા કહ્યું કે,
હવે બધી જ સેવાઓ ફરી શરૂ થઈ ગઈ છે. તમને લોકોને જે સમસ્યા થઈ તે બદલ મને દુખ છે. તમે લોકો અમારા પર ભરોસો કરો છો, અમારી સેવાઓ પર ભરોસો કરો છો.
સોમવારે બપોર બાદ આ એપ્સમાં કંઈક સમસ્યા આવી હોવાના કારણે સેવાઓ બાધિત થવા લાગી. 6 કલાક સુધી સેવાઓ બાધિત થયા બાદ આખરે આ સેવાઓ ફરી શરૂ થઈ ગઈ છે.
વોટ્સએપ દુનિયાભરના કેટલાય દેશોમાં ડાઉન હતું, જેના કારણે લોકો મેસેજ નહોતા મોકલી શકતા.
અમુક લોકોએ જણાવ્યું કે આ ડીએનએસ એટલે કે ડોમેન નેમ સિસ્ટમની સમસ્યા હતી. જણાવી દઈએ કે જ્યારે કોઈ વેબસાઈટ ખોલવામાં આવે છે તો તેને કોમ્પ્યૂટરમાં ડીએનએસ કહીએ છીએ. વેબસાઈટની આઈપી શું છે તે બ્રાઉઝર જણાવે છે. એવામાં જ્યારે કોઈ વેબસાઈટનો આઈપી એડ્રેસ મટી જાય છે તો બ્રાઉઝર તેને ખોલી ના શકે.

WhatsAppwas down in many countries around the world, which prevented people from sending messages.
Some people said this was a problem with the DNS i.e. domain name system. Let’s say that when a website is opened, it is called DNS in the computer. The browser reveals what the IP of the website is. When an IP address of a website is erased, the browser cannot open it.
