#Centre to provide Rs 4400 crore in 5 years to help exporters

PM MODI નરેન્દ્ર મોદીની અધ્યક્ષતામાં મળેલી બેઠકમાં કેન્દ્રીય કેબિનેટે રાજ્યની માલિકીની નિકાસ ક્રેડિટ ગેરંટી કોર્પોરેશન લિમિટેડ (ECGC લિમિટેડ) માં રૂ.4,400 કરોડના મૂડી રોકાણને મંજૂરી આપી છે.
કેન્દ્રીય વાણિજ્ય મંત્રી પિયુષ ગોયલે કેબિનેટની બેઠક બાદ જણાવ્યું હતું કે ECGC ને પણ જાહેર ઓફર (IPO) દ્વારા સૂચિબદ્ધ કરવામાં આવશે. સરકાર 2021-22 થી 5 વર્ષ માટે ECGC માં 4,400 કરોડ રૂપિયાનું રોકાણ કરશે.
500 કરોડ તાત્કાલિક ECGC માં મુકવામાં આવશે
કેન્દ્રીયમંત્રી ગોયલે કહ્યું કે ઈસીજીસીમાં 500 કરોડ રૂપિયા તાત્કાલિક જમા કરવામાં આવશે. તેમણે આશા વ્યક્ત કરી હતી કે, ઇસીજીસી આવતા વર્ષે યાદીમાં આવશે. તેમણે કહ્યું કે ચાલુ નાણાકીય વર્ષમાં 21 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2021 સુધી કુલ નિકાસ 185 અબજ રૂપિયા રહી છે.
સમજાવો કે નિકાસકારોને ક્રેડિટ વીમા સેવાઓ આપીને નિકાસને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા માટે ECGC ની શરૂઆત કરવામાં આવી હતી. તેનો હેતુ વ્યાવસાયિક અને રાજકીય કારણોસર વિદેશી ખરીદદારો તરફથી ચુકવણી ન કરવાના જોખમો સામે નિકાસકારોને ધિરાણ વીમો આપવાનો છે.
In a meeting chaired byPM MODI Narendra Modi, the Union CabinetECGC has raised Rs. 4,400 Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said after the Cabinet meeting that ECGC will also be listed through public offerings(IPO).The government will invest Rs 4,400 crore in ECGC for 5 years from 2021-22.
500 crore to be put up in ECGC immediately
Union Minister Goyal said rs 500 crore would be deposited immediately in the ECGC. He hoped that the ECGC would be on the list next year. He said that the total exports till September 21, 2021 in the current financial year stood at Rs 185 billion.
Explain that ECGC was introduced to promote exports by providing credit insurance services to exporters. It is intended to provide credit insurance to exporters against the risks of non-payment from foreign buyers for professional and political reasons.
